You haven't lived until you've had a taste of this heavenly Caribbean dish. This is the reason why Jamaican food lovers are always smiling!
3 green onions, peeled and finely chopped.
3 cloves peeled garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. ground allspice (pimento berries)
1/2 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground black peppercorns
1 small red chili, ground
1 tbsp. olive oil
6 loin pork chops
Combine the onion, garlic and salt in a food processor to make a paste. Add the rest of the spices. Smear on pork and marinate overnight. Brush the pork with a little more oil and grill over hot coals in a covered barbecue for five to ten minutes until just cooked through.
