The Silence of Snow

I love the silence that snow brings with it.

The world halts for a while as God gives us, once again, something beautiful to look at.

We are having what the news stations are calling Thunder Snow. Like thunder storms but with snow instead of rain. I had never heard of it. Yet the sound woke me at 5:20-ish. In our Capital, Columbia, they had lightening with it. Freaky.

I have about 1-1.5 inches of snow and when I awoke to check it out, I heard freezing rain coming down on top of it.

I will add more pictures in another hour or so when my world lightens here in Ballentine, SC : )
