Pedigree has recalled some of their dog food due to possible metal fragments.

Here’s the details from the Pedigree site:

” A voluntary recall of PEDIGREE® Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food products due to the possible presence of a foreign material. The voluntary recall still affects 22 bags shipped to Dollar General across four U.S. states, but it now is being expanded to 55-pound bags of PEDIGREE® Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food products sold in Sam’s Club in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.”

What is recalled and where?

The 55-lb bags of Pedigree Adult Dog Food distributed in Sam’s Club in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

The 15-lb bags of Pedigree Adult Dog Food distributed in Dollar General in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

“Bags may contain small metal fragments, which could have entered the packages during the production process. The foreign material is not embedded in the food itself, but may present a risk of injury if consumed.

We encourage consumers who have purchased affected product to discard the food or return it to the retailer for a full refund or exchange. We have not received any reports of injury or illness associated with the affected product. The lot codes indicated below should not be sold or consumed.

I wanted to try this product because I am now experiencing symptoms of menopause.

My first impressions: nice color, no odd smells from dyes, soft material, good width & length for the crotch & padding, material fit well across the skin, and I had no bad reactions to it at the end of the day.

Strawberry Pineapple Mint Juice Ingredients: Pear - 1 medium Peppermint - 15 leaves Pineapple - 1/2 fruit Strawberry - 1 cup/whole Directions: You may have issues juicing the mint leaves if you use a centrifuge juicer. Try to bunch them up into a tight ball or pack them into some lettuce before juicing. If all else fails, just stick a few mint leaves in the juice itself to get some of the minty flavour.

Passion 4 Juice Ingredients: 1/4 Pineapple 1 Apple 1/4 Banana 200g Natural Yogurt 1/2 Teaspoon of Spirulina Directions: Simply juice the pineapple and apple. Pour into a blender along with the banana, yogurt and spirulina. Blend until smooth. Drink over ice.
