It works great for me personally!I received my tube of cream deodorant over a week ago and I have yet to go back to traditional deodorant! I'm 53, overweight, nearing the tail-end of peri-meno (I hope!), and have dealt with a variety of unusual odors through those years. Long story short, I LOVE LUME! The key to using this is to be CLEAN & DRY before applying well (following the directions), then letting it dry on your skin before dressing. The fragrance is light, and the cream does NOT sting, even freshly shaved pits! I also started using it on the bottoms of my feet because wearing my shoes all day causes odors... but not anymore!

I have not yet been using this product long enough to comment on how it treats my lines and oncoming wrinkles on my aging facial skin; I am currently 52... but, when cleansing my face with the Rosy Tone Mask, I love the way this feels, it's so smooth and soothing.

However, as soon as it starts reaching the 5-minute point of when you're supposed to rinse it off, my top lip, the sensitive area under the nose, starts tingling with a slight burning sensation, so if I go over time after the alarm goes off, I know that, "Hey! Right now it's time to take this off!" LOL ...then I have to wait at least 30 minutes before I apply the rosy tone moisturizer because I do have sensitive skin. The first day I did not wait, and applied it immediately after rinsing the mask... my face stung for almost an hour! So I've learned to wait. Last week when I waited I lost track of time... I went 24 hours without because I forgot!

Let me tell you a little bit about this 52 year old's face! If I do not add a moisturizer after washing my face, I feel as if my skin has been exposed to a desert! It starts pulling and itching and feeling tight and feeling dry and it will consume my mind until I put moisturizer on my face! With the rosy tone, I did not even realize I needed the moisturizer! So I could clean with the mask everyday, or every other day, and not even need moisturizer! In my book, that makes this an amazing product!

The 3rd item, the Age Perfect Hydra Nutrition All Over Honey Balm is great as well! It smells good, and clean, and you can use it on your face, neck, chest, and hands.
Always always always apply a moisturizer to your neck and upper chest, and especially the back of your hands and your arms! They are oftentimes exposed to the sun more than your face is! It is one way for sure to tell a woman's age if you cannot tell by her face or neck! The back of her hands will look like her grandmother's hands. #crepepaper!

KONJAC SPONGE

So what's the deal with "Konjac Sponges"?

That's what I wanted to know, so I got one!

What I did not know:
Konjac Sponges are made from a form of a potato from Asia. (aka Plant Fiber)

It breaks down over time naturally, in approx two months, so you will need to replace it fairly often. They are not overly-expensive so this won't break the bank!

You can use these with a little water, or a cleaners, or even a scrubbing moisturizer!

What else I found out:

They leave your skin feeling much softer by removing deep-down dirt and germs, and dead/dying skin cells. This helps refresh your face, open the pores and the skin to 'breathe' better.

Then you may notice you don't have to use near as much moisturizer because the face will be able to produce it's own natural oils better. I also use this on my neck as well and it softens the skin there too, that's a huge plus for me!!

Keep a clean face, and it will keep you looking pretty!!

When squeezing out the water, because I have arthritis, I found it easiest to place it between both palms and push hard several times (this is after rinsing & rinsing to make sure any cleansers or dead skin is out, of course). Get out as much water as you can, then (in my opinion) hang it AWAY from moist areas. My home is small, so it's actually stored in my bedroom on the mirror! LOL (That also reminds me ever single night to wash my face. I always need a reminder because there are too many times I go to bed without doing that!

You can sterilize the (moist, not dry) sponge in the microwave on high for one minute.

Please follow all directions from the packaging before using, storing, and sanitizing.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Lovely Lashes Eyelash Curler

I received these in the mail yesterday and used them already (...naturally!! I love using mascara and liner!) I like the way it doesn't pinch my eyes at the corners or middle like others have in the past.

The curl holds well while waiting for the mascara to be applied.

I have included instructions below from the company's FB page and also a graphic near the bottom on curling, and adding mascara to your lashes. I hope this helps some of you who may never have done it before.

How to Use an Eyelash Curler Properly:

Instructions

1 Remove Makeup

First of all you need to remove your eyes makeup to allow the curler being used conveniently and preventing your eyelash hair being pulled from its roots. If you try to use the curler with eyes makeup on, this will not help your eyelash hair getting curled properly, but might make them sticky. Use proper makeup removal. You can dampen a piece of cotton to clean the eyelashes hair.

2 Positioning of Curler

Put your eyelash hair right in the center of the curler, with one side of it on the hair and the other beneath the hair. Make sure your eyelash hair is in the middle of the curler so when it clamps down the hair is curled through one end to the other effectively.

3 Actual Curling

Once you are assured that your eyelash hair is positioned in the center of the curler, clamp down the curler and hold it to the position for about five seconds. Remove the curler to see if the eyelash is curled and then do the same process for the other eyelash. Although the use of the curler does not pose any major risk to eyes, still be careful about its use. Use a mirror that gives you a clear picture of what you are doing.
