Reindeer Chow {Muddy Buddies}

Ingredients

1. 14 Cups Chex cereal
2. 18 oz holiday m&ms
3. 12 oz semi sweet chocolate, bar or chips
4. 1/2 Cup unsalted butter
5. 1 Cup peanut butter
6. 1 tsp vanilla extract
7. 4-5 Cups powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Melt the peanut butter and butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave in 30 second intervals until butter is melted. Add the chocolate a little at a time until all is melted into the mix. You might need to microwave one last time to make sure everything is melted and add the vanilla. Stir together.
2. In a large bowl add half of the cereal.
3. Drizzle half of the chocolate peanut butter mixture into the cereal in the bowl. Mix with a spoon.
4. Place one large paper bag into another one. Add 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar and half of the mixed cereal into the bag. Close this tightly and shake vigorously. Add more powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time if needed until all the cereal is coated. Add 1/4 of the m&ms into the bag and toss. Place in an air tight container.
5. Continue these step with the remaining ingredients.
6. Keep stored in an air tight container. I personally love to keep it in the freezer, YUM!

If you want to make life simpler this Christmas, you can use these printables for your own gift giving. If you want to print on the Avery labels, click one of the files below. You’ll download a .jpg file that has one tag or label which you can then upload to Avery Design & Print Online tool.

If you’d like to print these out on cardstock and just trim around them yourself, download one of the files below. Each one is a PDF that will print 8 tags or 12 circles on an 8.5×11 piece of paper. NOTE: the tags are just rectangles, so you’ll need to trim the edges at a angle and punch your own hole for the “tag” look.

Unbroken is a 2014 American war drama film produced and directed by Angelina Jolie based on the 2010 nonfiction book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. Production

Development

Universal Pictures purchased the rights to the book in January 2011, having already acquired the film rights to Zamperini's life towards the end of the 1950s. Early drafts for the film were written by William Nicholson and Richard LaGravenese while Francis Lawrence was scheduled to direct. Joel and Ethan Coen were then tapped to rewrite the script after Jolie was named director.

On September 30, 2013, Jolie was confirmed to direct the film in Australia. Walden Media was originally set as Universal's co-financer, but withdrew from the project prior to filming and were subsequently replaced by Legendary Pictures. The filming is based in New South Wales and Queensland, with scenes also being shot in Fox Studios Australia and Village Roadshow Studios. The filming began on October 21, 2013, and it is expected that the post-production will also be done in Australia.

Filming

On December 14, 2013, four days of filming were completed in Werris Creek, New South Wales.

Christmas Evening 2010

I hope all of you had a good Christmas! Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Our day was small but fun. Just the kid, myself, mom & dad. Great food, gifts we actually needed, and some good coffee.

Zach got a new Vivitar digital vivcam from mom & dad so I've been playing with it all day. He got a cellphone (egads) from his dad and other grands, so he's been playing with that all day LOL

The artificial tree will be taken down tomorrow and since there wasn't much on it, it won't take me 10 minutes to pack everything back up. Just wasn't in the mood this year with being on the poor end of the spectrum and partially disabled. Just not up to it physically, but in mind, I'm all over it.

We're suppose to get 1-3" of snow tonight after midnight. We're in SC, I really don't think we'll get much at all. I remember hearing it last year and it didn't even rain in my area. We shall see.
