PRODUCT REVIEW: 11 Watt S14 Bulbs Pack of 20

(more photos below)

I like these little guys!

They've lasted the three weeks I've had them up, and I have them in 3 different areas... so far!

They aren't so bright that they blind you, and with the time change, that is huge for me! I hate glare and ultra-bright lights!

I can imagine how well they would work in business signs!

These are perfect for me, and for my home!

(the base is copper with a nickel electroplated coating to prevent corrosion)

Bathroom overhead light-bar before, with regular bulbs
(one had just burned out before I received these new ones)...

...and after, with the clear, 'low dose' bulbs. I like these MUCH better.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Epica Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush with Pivoting Head for Dogs

Our dogs love these brushes!

Bella immediately rolls over on her back and wants her chest scratched!

Sebastian loves it on the back of his neck, and down his sides (ribs and haunches).

It has good bristles, and a wonderful grip, top and bottom, on the handle.

The pivoting takes some getting use to but it caused no problems.

^  Back of Bastian's neck "Oh yea, man, that feels awesome!"

v  Satisfied! Look at all that hair that came off them! LOL

PRODUCT REVIEW: Small, Slim Packing Organizer

These are really nice bags for keeping undies, jewelry or personal needs separated in your luggage bags.
What we used them for:
My mother-in-law passed recently, and my husband, my son, myself and my brother-in-law had to go through and divide her things among us. I got the majority of her clothing and girlie stuff of course. So all the 'smaller' items, like makeup, hair brushes, change, small candles, perfume bottles, reading glasses and so on... they happened to fit perfectly in these containers! That way, they didn't get damaged being in a box with other larger items. I was thankful I had them!
After I go through them and place things where they need to be, I'll give them to my son for his school needs for pencils, school ID, sunglasses, etc.

BOOK REVIEW: "Out of the Shoebox" by Yaron Reshef

This story is about a family having to deal with and try to live through the holocaust, while also trying to find all of their family members. You were privy to practically every single thought of the writer.

The genealogy/family tree in the back of the book is also a helpful guide. And I learned what 'Kiddush' is.

It's a great book about history and includes very nice photos. It was well-written, and though just an itsy-bit slow in some spots (just my personal opinion), I enjoyed it, and I do recommend it.

You can find your copy here:
http://www.amazon.com/Out-Shoebox-Autobiographic-Historical-Nonfiction-ebook/dp/B00ONT6N0A/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Book Description:

Out of the Shoebox is a fascinating journal that reads like a detective story, comes across as an imaginative quest into the past, yet is the true personal story of the writer, Yaron Reshef.

An unexpected phone call hurls Reshef into an intensive two-year journey, during which he has to solve a mystery that took shape in the 1930s and gradually unfolded in the present. A mysterious lot, a forgotten bank account, a people long gone – along with their memory which were obliterated during the Holocaust. All of these rise to the surface, bearing with them memories and emotions previously hidden away in the shoebox.
